We will discuss the potential for academic dishonesty, as well as ethical issues surrounding the use of AI. Additionally, we will examine common and practical uses of ChatGPT, such as language generation and machine learning. We will also delve into the history of AI, tracing its development and impact on various industries. Finally, we will discuss the implications of AI for the future of work and education, considering the potential for automation and the impact on job markets. Overall, this workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state and future possibilities of AI technology.
  • If you are a NON-IT student and you are coming to campus for something later in the day, select this option.
  • During this session, students will use a Cricut to design and create name tags that will be sent to hospitals to use for babies in the NICU.

    Explore the interaction between music & mood as it relates to mental health needs. We will then create an IA playlist of songs for a calming room and for the fitness center. We will be using EarSketch and python to create the songs so bring your computer.
  • CORE PLUS is a Flex Friday session designed to support 9th graders in their Math and Biology courses. Students will work on content that is relevant to what they are learning in class, receive extra practice problems, have time to complete HW, and have the opportunity to work in a small group directed by a content teacher.
  • Work with your partners to create a digital escape room that focuses on cybersecurity and/or coding topics. This is an all day session choose this session in the afternoon as well.

    In this workshop, we'll walk you through each step of the podcast creation process, such as choosing a topic, show and episode format, audio recording and editing, and publishing. By the end of this full day workshop, you will have a podcast episode planned, recorded, and ready to publish to the new IA Podcast, which will be available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify! Make sure to bring your charged device to the session. If you choose this workshop, you are committing to Morning AND Afternoon so please select this in the Afternoon Session as well.

He is encouraging students who have done one session with him to come back and begin coding new features. However, the session is open to new students as well.

Promotional needs will be determined from submissions via a QR-code request form. Students design the request process as well as the promotional products.
